    Du Yun Mao Jian is one of Chinese Ten Famous Teas. It's originated from Guizhou province, and also called as Fish Hook Tea due to its curly appearance. Guizhou province is one of the ideal place in China to produce green tea. It is located in the Yungui Highland with altitude above 1,000m. There is few plains in this terrain, mountains and hills standing everywhere. In winter and Spring, the weather is often cloudy, which is very helpful for the growing of tea trees. And many of the tea gardens in Guizhou is based on mineral rich rotten rocky soil. In the Classic of Tea by Luyu, rotten rocky soil (烂石茶地 in Chinese) was marked to be the soil to grow upper level teas.

    The processing of Duyun Mao Jian is Frying Green. The technology was passed down generation by generation since far ancient times. During the history it was preserved and improved. Nowdays the technicians in Duyun are making a miracle by producing the fantastic tea Duyun Mao Jian.
